Kew Cricket Club has been awarded the ECB Clubmark and operates a thriving Colts section for boys and girls aged 6 to 17. The children are placed in groups based on age and skill level. Coaching follows a set programme, teaching the Colts basic skills of cricket including batting, fielding and bowling. We encourage good sportsmanship skills and provide a variety of activities during the coaching sessions.
Demand is particularly high at the Under 9 and Under 11 levels and these groups are limited to ensure a high standard of coaching. To guarantee the best chance of receiving a spot with the Kew CC Colts go to our Membership page and download a Junior Membership Application today!
Colts training sessions run from 10.30 until 12.30 Sunday mornings starting on the 1st May 2011 and run through the school term.
FRIDAY COLTS ACADEMY
Kew Cricket Club runs a Friday evening programme for children aged 7-14. The sessions include coaching the fundamental skills of cricket through instruction and games. This training runs from 6pm - 7.30pm every Friday evening. These sessions are open to all children and the cost is £7 per child per session (payable on the day).
The bar is open and a BBQ is available for you to use (bring your own food). This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy a drink and some food with the other parents while your children train.
